Drokiia

an urban-type settlement and center of Drokiia Raion, Moldavian SSR. It has a railroad station on the Oknitsa-Bel’tsy-Slobodzeia line. Population, 11,200 (1970). A sugar refinery, tobacco fermentation plant, brick and tile plant, and reinforced-packing plant are located there, as well as a furniture factory.
