Location:3 miles south of San Marcos Pass on Painted Cave Road, off Highway 154.
Special Features:Park features a sandstone cave with fine examples of Native American art on the walls. The scenes include religious drawings by Chumash Indians, as well as depictions of coastal fishermen that date back to the 1600s.
