Occupational medicine
A series of guidelines developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), intended to address activities in the workplace that carry a high risk for injury.
OSHA high-risk activities
• Repetitive motion over prolonged periods of up to four hours; 
• Maintaining a fixed/awkward position for prolonged periods; 
• Use of vibrating or impact tools for a prolonged periods; 
• Lifting heavy loads frequently during a shift.
