Complex Thread

a thread consisting of several elementary threads (single fibers of unspecified length).

Glued complex threads are used in industry in the form of raw silk, which is obtained by simultaneously unwinding several cocoons. Raw silk is used in the textile industry to make thrown silk. The majority of chemical fibers are complex threads.
