Boz·zo·lo sign

(bot'sō-lō), pulsating vessels in the nasal mucous membrane, noted occasionally in aneurysm of the thoracic aorta.

Bozzolo sign

Visible vascular pulsations within the nostrils and nasal mucosa, seen in some patients with thoracic aortic aneurysms. The sign may also be seen in aortic regurgitation.
