Location:Southwestern corner of Kansas. Accessible by US 56; KS 95, 27 and 51. Nearby cities/towns include Elkhart, Rolla, and Wilburton.
Facilities:Campground, dispersed camping, picnic area, trails, fishing pier, livestock corral, scenic drive.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, OHV riding, bird watching.
Special Features:A portion of the Santa Fe National Historic Trail (see entry in national trails section); Eightmile Historical Monument, where Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma share borders. Point of Rocks (3,540 feet), the third highest point in the state of Kansas. From here, Colorado and Oklahoma are visible on clear days.
