Devoll
a river in Albania that forms the Semani River. It is 181 km long and drains an area of 3,240 sq km. Its sources are in the Gramos Mountains. The Devoll crosses the Korça intermontane basin, forming the residual Lake Maliq. There are freshets in the fall and winter and low water in the summer. The annual flow rate at the mouth is 80 cu M per sec. The Devoll’s waters are used for irrigation. There is a hydroelectric plant on the river.
