Erken-Shakhar

an urban-type settlement in Adyge-Khabl’ Raion, Karachai-Cherkess Autonomous Oblast, on the Malyi Zelenchuk River, near its confluence with the Kuban. Erken-Shakhar has a railroad station on a spur of the Armavir–Mineral’nye Vody line. It has a sugar refinery, a mixed-feed plant, an association for raising and fattening cattle, and a fruittree nursery-sovkhoz.
