Erlen Pervyshin

Pervyshin, Erlen Kirikovich

 

Born June 25, 1942, in Rasskazovo, Tambov Oblast. Soviet state figure. Candidate of technical sciences. Member of the CPSU since 1959.

The son of an office worker, Pervyshin graduated from the Moscow Electrical Engineering Institute of Communications in 1955. From 1955 to 1969 he held a series of positions at the All-Union Assembly-Installation Design Trust, serving as an engineer, head of an assembly-installation section, head of an assembly-installation directorate, assistant administrator, and administrator. In 1969 and 1970 he was general director of the All-Union Scientific Production Association. He served as deputy minister of the radio industry of the USSR from 1970 to 1974, when he was named minister of the communications equipment industry of the USSR. He became a candidate member of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1976.

A deputy to the ninth and tenth convocations of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Pervyshin has been awarded the Order of Lenin, the Order of the October Revolution, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, and various medals.
