Braganza-Coburg

 

the younger line of the royal dynasty of Braganza in Portugal. The Braganza-Coburg dynasty originated with Pedro V, son of Maria II da Gloria (who ruled from 1834 to 1853) and Ferdinand August, prince of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Members of the Braganza-Coburg dynasty are Pedro V (who ruled from 1853 to 1861), Luis I (1861–89), Carlos I (1889–1908), and Manuel II (1908–10). The Braganza-Coburgs were overthrown in the bourgeois revolution of 1910.
