an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Bragin Raion, Gomel’ Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Located on the Braginka River (Dnieper basin), 28 km from the Khoiniki railroad station. Population, 3,600 (1969). Bragin has a butter and cheese factory, a winery, and other enterprises of the food-processing industry.
