Location:0.5 miles offshore of Crescent City, along California's northern coast.
Special Features:Refuge preserves the state's second largest seabird breeding colony and is a haul-out spot for a variety of marine mammals including California sea lion, Stellar sea lion, and northern elephant seal.
Habitats: A 14-acre rock island with steep cliffs and sparse vegetation.
Access: Closed to the public; wildlife can be observed from the mainland shore.
Wild life: Endangered Aleutian Canada geese.
