Djidjelli

a city and port on the coast of northeastern Algeria, in the wilaya of Constantine. Population, 35,000 (1966). Djidjelli is the commercial and transportation center of an agricultural and forestry region (gardening, cork harvesting). Its industries include cork processing, the building of launches, and fishing. The principal export is cork.
