a limited diet often used in regimens for acute gastroenteritis; acronym for bananas, rice, apples (juice or sauce), and toast.
Bananas, Rice, Apples, Toast (Tea). A bland diet prescribed for viral gastroenteritis which, with water, replenishes liquids and electrolytes lost in pediatric diarrhoea; other foods appropriate for diarrhoea include plain chicken, crackers, and potatoes
