Location:2.5 miles from US 1 and the Maine Turnpike on Kittery Point Road (Route 103).
Facilities:Historic structures, picnic tables, restrooms (é). Open Memorial Day-September 30.
Special Features:Fort McClary was manned during five wars, from the American Revolutionthrough World War I, though it saw little conflict. Its buildingsrepresent several different periods of construction as the fort wasupgraded to meet the area's defensive needs, preserving evidence ofmilitary history as well as changes in military architecture andtechnology.
