Location:Off TN 87, on the Chickasaw Bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River.
Facilities:38 campsites, primitive campsites, picnic areas, pavilions, hiking trails (15 miles), boat ramp, museum, game courts, playground.
Activities:Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, backpacking.
Special Features:In 1861, the Confederates built an extensive fortification here and named it for one of their generals, Gideon J. Pillow. Remains of the earthworks of this structure are still present.
