A proprietary dietary supplement created by a Dr Joseph Glickman and is billed as an all-natural and organic supplement that supports immune function.When Beta Mannan was first sold online, the official website included claims that it could be used to cure, mitigate, treat and prevent contraction of human papillomavirus (HPV), which has been linked to anogenital cancer. In 2008, the FDA sent a cease-and-desist order to Dr Glickman, requiring that all such claims be removed from the site and sales materials.
