He or she is a person carried by an aircraft who is (i) employed, engaged, or contracted by the operator of the aircraft; (ii) carried for the sole purpose of undergoing or giving instruction in the control and navigation of the aircraft; (iii) exercising a function duly authorized in writing by the concerned authority; or (iv) a flight examiner. |
