Flax and Hemp Crusher

a machine for crushing and partially separating flax shives and hemp stock. In the USSR the MLKU-6 crusher is used. When the crusher is operating, the unbound sheaves are placed on the table and fed one at a time to the rollers, which grip and crush the stock. The rollers may revolve at the same speed and just crush the stock, or they may have varying speeds for crushing and grinding. The crushed stock moves to a conveyor, and from there it is removed and tied into small bundles. The productivity of the flax and hemp crusher is 0.25-0.3 tons per hour.
