a breed of hogs of general productivity developed in Breitovo Raion, Iaroslavl’ Oblast, by crossing local, late-maturing hogs with the large white, medium white, Lithuanian white, and Danish breeds. Breitovo hogs are of the compact meat-and-lard type and of strong constitution, with well-developed hams. They are white.
