eleotherapy

(1) Injection of oil into the thoracic cavity in order to effect collapse of a pulmonary lobe (i.e., poudrage), an obsolete therapeutic tactic formerly used to treat locally extensive tuberculous or pyothorax. 
(2) Oleothorax.
