Euroterrorist EuroterroristAny of a number of terrorist organizations that operated throughout Europe, and occasionally worked together, in the 1970s and 1980s. Euroterrorist groups had different goals: for example, the Irish Republican Army opposed British presence in Northern Ireland, while the Cellules Communistes Combattantes in Belgium opposed capitalism. Some groups were nationalist, while others focused on promoting a left wing ideology. |
