Euryhaline Animal

an aquatic animal capable of tolerating substantial fluctuations in water salinity. The group includes many inhabitants of ocean littorals, river estuaries, brackish and ultrahaline waters, as well as migratory fishes. The opposite of euryhaline animals are stenohaline animals.
