Ertil

a city (since 1963) and the administrative center of Ertil’ Raion, Voronezh Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Ertil’ River of the Don River basin, Ertil’ is linked by a railroad spur (32 km long) with the Oborona station on the Griazi-Povorino line. Industrial enterprises include a machine shop, a sugar factory, and a butter factory. The city has a station for land reclamation through forestation. Ertil’ also has a museum of local lore.
