chronic pruritic erythema beginning on sun-exposed areas in elderly males, with marked thickening and ridging of exposed skin simulating lymphoma; there is infiltration by atypical CD8-positive T lymphocytes.

actinic reticuloid

A chronic photodermatitis characterised by an infiltrate of histiocytes in the dermis; many patients are elderly men with a history of contact—e.g., flowers, chemicals and/or endogenous photosensitisation.
