Elgygytgyn

a lake in the northern part of the Anadyr’ Plateau, in Chukchi Autonomous Okrug (formerly Chukchi National Okrug), Magadan Oblast, RSFSR. Lake El’gygytgyn has an area of 119 sq km; it is 169 m deep in its central part. The lake is fed mainly by snow. The Enmyvaam River, a tributary of the Belaia River of the Anadyr’ River basin, flows out of Lake El’gygytgyn.
