Dneprorudnoe

a city (since 1970) in Vasil’evka Raion, Zaporozh’e Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, 3 km from the Kakhovskoe More railroad station. Population, 12,000 (1970). Dneprorudnoe has an iron-ore combine and a plant manufacturing reinforced-concrete structures. It is a cargo port on the Kakhovka Sea and has a mining technicum.
