Dobrianka
Dobrianka
a city (since 1943); center of Dobrianka Raion, Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR. A landing on the Kama Reservoir and railroad terminal of the Perm’-Kizel line. Located 91 km northeast of Perm’. Population, 18,000 (1970). There is a wood-processing combine and a machinery-repair plant.
Dobrianka developed near a copper mill (founded in 1752), that subsequently became an ironworks. During the construction of the Kama Hydroelectric Power Plant (1948-56), the area surrounding the ironworks was flooded and the equipment was removed. In the vicinity of the city there is petroleum and gas extraction and timber industry.
Dobrianka
an urban-type settlement in Repki Raion, Chernigov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, located 3 km from the railroad station Gornostaevka on the Chernigov-Gomel’ line. Dobrianka has furniture and clothing factories, and a plant for drying vegetables. Peat is extracted there.
