Brodniks

Brodniks

warlike people living along the shores of the Sea of Azov and the lower Don in the 12th and 13th centuries. The Brodniks were apparently the vestiges of an old Slavic population from the southern steppes of Russia, which had been greatly reduced by the onslaught of the Polovtsy and Tatars.
