Location:12 miles southeast of Hensler.
Facilities:70 campsites (7 with electrical hookups), showers, backcountry hike-in campsites, 3 log cabins, picnicshelters, playground, hiking trails, boat ramp, canoe rentals, visitorcenter, amphitheater.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Park is located along seven miles of the last free-flowing, undevelopedstretches of the Missouri River. The park's visitor center featuresexhibits and displays interpreting the once-mighty river and how man'salterations have affected it. An extensive trail system allows accessto the adjacent Cross Ranch Nature Preserve (see separate entry) andits varied ecosystems.
