Location:In the Clear Creek Valley from PA 949 to the Clarion River, in the northwestern part of the state.
Facilities:53 class B campsites (é), showers, pit toilets, 22 rustic cabins, 2 yurts, flush toilets, picnic area, picnic pavilions (é), hiking trails (25 miles), fitness trail, beach, hand launch boat ramp, playfield, playground, 9-hole disc golf course, sledding slope.
Activities:Camping, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, cross-country skiing, sledding, interpretive programs.
Special Features:The Clarion River, a class C waterway, offers excellent canoeing, especially during the spring and fall. A 10-mile trip from Clear Creek to Cook Forest State Park (see separate entry) takes about 4.5 hours. Rental canoes are available from commercial sources outside the park.
