Location:12 miles west of Yates Center in Woodson County.
Facilities:62 utility campsites (15 full hookups, 37 with water and electrichookups, 10 with electric only), 180 primitive, non-utility sites,modern bathroom and shower facilities, backcountry camping onChautauqua Hills Trail (by special permit), 2 rental cabins, trails,swimming beach, 6 boat ramp lanes, 2 courtesy docks.

Special Features:Park is located in the Verdigris River Valley in southeast Kansas, in aregion that was once a favored hunting and camping ground of the NativeAmericans of the Osage Nation. This area is in the northern reaches ofthe physiographic region known to early pioneers as Cross Timbers. Thepark provides numerous access points to the 2,800-acre TorontoReservoir.
