Location:3.5 miles northeast of Kelseyville on Soda Bay Road, north of Calistoga in the wine country.
Facilities:147 developed family campsites (including 2 hike/bike campsites; some sites @di),group camp, showers, restrooms (é), picnic areas (é), hiking and nature trails, swimming area, boat ramps,boat moorage, visitor center (é).
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, water-skiing, wildlife viewing, guided tours, interpretive programs (seasonal).
Special Features:Clear Lake is the largest natural lake entirely within the state. Mostof the water in the lake comes from runoff, though some comes fromsprings in Soda Bay. Bass fishing is so good here that some fishingorganizations have designated Clear Lake as the best bass lake in thenation, based on numbers of fish caught. The lake also containscatfish, blackfish, Sacramento perch, hitch, crappie, and bluegill.

Activities:Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating, sailing, jet skiing, windsurfing, water-skiing, hiking.
Special Features:Park is located on the southeast shore of 3,684-acre Clear Lake, one ofthe major outdoor recreation features of northern Iowa. The park ischaracterized by rolling land with mature groves of oak trees, withsmall draws and thickets that provide habitat for small wildlife.Scenic Woodford Island is managed primarily for wildlife habitat and isan excellent spot for fishing.

Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, wildlifeviewing, hunting (on state forest land), cross-country skiing,interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park is located within the boundaries of Mackinaw State Forest, whichcovers the northern eight counties of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Thisis elk country, and elk can be seen and heard throughout the area inthe early morning and evening, especially during the spring and fall.The park also has a sandy beach with a shallow swimming area that makesit ideal for children.
