Crow, (Fred) Trammel

(1914– ) real estate developer; born in Dallas, Texas. Starting with Dallas warehouses in the late 1940s, he became the nation's largest private developer and landlord, eventually managing 650 corporations and property in nearly every major U.S. city. He developed such high-profile urban shopping precincts as Peachtree Center, Atlanta, Ga. (early 1960s), and Embarcadero Center, San Francisco (early 1970s).
