Activities:Fishing, hiking, fossil exploring (fossil collecting is prohibited), interpretive programs.
Special Features:The 386-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest exposed Devonianfossil beds in the world. Access to the fossil beds is best from Augustthrough October, when the river is at its lowest level.
