conical helimagnet

[′kän·ə·kəl ′hel·ə‚mag·nət] (solid-state physics) A helimagnet in which the directions of atomic magnetic moments all make the same angle (greater than 0° and less than 90°) with a specified axis of the crystal, moments of atoms in successive basal planes are separated by equal azimuthal angles, and all moments have the same magnitude.
