Any material applied to an exterior wall that, if removed or destroyed, will not reduce the structural stability of the building enclosure, and that is installed so as not to reduce the required fire-resistance rating of the enclosure. May include belt courses, cornices, fascias, gutters, half-timber work, overhanging eaves, shutters, surrounds, trellises, and moldings around doors and windows; does not include door and window frames and sashes.
