Benjamin system of muscular therapy

Benjamin system of muscular therapy

A bodywork technique developed by BE Benjamin in the 1960s, which incorporates Swedish massage, deep-tissue bodywork and myofascial and friction therapies. Muscular therapy treats a variety of pain, injury, body perception and muscle tension problems. Myofascial and friction therapy techniques are used specifically to reduce scar tissue, which accumulates as a result of injury to soft tissue structures in the body. The technique is said to decrease muscle tension and promote health.
