Dugi Otok

an island in the Adriatic Sea near the coast of Yugoslavia. Length, approximately 45 km; area, 124 sq km; maximum elevation, 338 m. Dugi Otok is formed mainly of types of limestone. Grapes, olives, and figs are cultivated, and there is fishing.
