behavioural kinesiology behavioural kinesiology A non-mainstream discipline which borrows from applied kinesiology and psychoanalysis to manage mental and physical disorders. It was developed by psychiatrist Dr John Diamond as a means of helping patients cope with external stress and life changes that affect stamina. Behavioural kinesiology combines applied kinesiology testing with preventive medicine, psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine and humanities. |
