Beshenkovichi

an urban-type settlement and center of Beshenkovichi Raion, Vitebsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR, on the Zapadnaia Dvina River. Located 33 km from the Chashniki railroad station, it has a population of 4,500 (1968). There are a construction materials combine, a flax plant, a milk plant, and plants for harnesses and artistic handicrafts, in the settlements.
