Dukhovshchina

a town and administrative center of Dukhovshchina Raion, Smolensk Oblast, RSFSR. It is located 23 km northwest of the Iartsevo railway station and 70 km northeast of Smolensk. The town has a flax-processing plant and a cheese dairy. Dukhovshchina was founded in 1777.
