| 释义 |
Age Setback Age SetbackThe number of years' difference between women and men at which they are paying the same amount in life insurance premiums. Because women tend to live longer than men, life insurance companies often charge them lower premiums because they expect women to pay premiums for a longer period of time. For example, a 66 year old woman may pay the same premium each month as a 62 year old man. In this case, the age setback is four years. Having age setback is sometimes considered discriminatory and is illegal in some jurisdictions. |
