anaplastic Wilms tumour
A histopathologically defined variant of Wilms tumour, which must have all of the following criteria:• Nuclei at least three-fold greater than adjacent nuclei of same histogenesis;
• Nuclear hyperchromasia;
• Enlarged or multipolar mitoses.
Prognosis
Anaplasia in children with Wilms’ tumour signals a poor prognosis and chemoresistance.
