Bulaevo

a city (until 1969, a settlement) and administrative center of Bulaevo Raion, Severnyi Kazakhstan Oblast, Kazakh SSR. The railway station for Bulaevo is 82 km east of Petropavlovsk. There is a branch line (100 km) running to the Molodogvardeiskaia station south of Bulaevo. The population was 11, 600 in 1968. Industries include house-frame construction and the repair of agricultural machinery. There is a grain elevator and a creamery in Bulaevo.
