Location:Between Port Townsend and Port Angeles, Washington, at the eastern end of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Facilities:Viewing sites, boat launch, trails, historic features, interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Boating, canoeing, fishing, crabbing, clamming, beachcombing, horseback riding, educational programs.
Special Features:Refuge includes the world's longest natural sand spit.
Habitats: 631 acres of sand spit, tidelands, and forested uplands.
Access: During daylight hours; access is by foot or horseback only.
Wild life: Waterfowl, seabirds, shellfish, and seals.
