Folpet

 

(N-trichloromethylthiophthalimide), a fungicide used in combating fungal diseases of fruit crops, including berries and grapes, potatoes, and tomatoes, as well as in seed treatment. It is produced in the form of a 50-percent or 70-percent preparation. It is applied in amounts ranging from 2 to 6 kg/hectare. Its toxicity for humans and animals is slight.
