Firm Name
in the USSR, the name used to individualize a legal entity (juristic person) engaged in economic activity. The name, which appears in the charter of the entity, must reflect the entity’s activity and supervising governmental body. The firm name may incorporate a special or abbreviated name, for example, Vesna, Detskii Mir, or ZIL. An organization is entitled to use its firm name in its normal business dealings and to display the name in advertisements and on signs, business forms, and bills.
