Bundle wagon

Bundle wagon

In some regions, a Header wagon was used for hauling bundles dropped in the field by binders, and was sometimes referred to as a bundle wagon. Such a design was very convenient to use, since the high offside helped prevent the bundles from being pitched completely over the wagon while being loaded. In other regions, the wagons used for bundle hauling had a wide platform much like a hayrack instead of the flare-sided header wagon box, and the bundles were carefully stacked on it.
