centroblast

(sen′trŏ-blast″) [ center + -blast] A B lymphocyte that reproduces within the germinal center of a lymph node. It has a noncleaved nucleus. Unlike the centrocyte, into which it develops, it does not express immunoglobulins on its cell surface.
